Just obnoxious

That's my girl, pin-balling around like she owns the place! There have been a couple of times where she's actually startled me. She will bring back Gladiators in 2035 and be called Rocket Launcher, or something.

Let's get this out of the way, here's me at just over 26 weeks. I looked at my picture from 2 weeks ago and I look the same, phew!! Chris says I need to not take anymore pictures in the bathroom, so this will be my last PJ bathroom display, probably.

I think the third trimester starts this week, how did that happen?! Now I have heartburn, no lung capacity, and some mild swelling. Woohoo! I take my glucose test next week, hopefully I pass. Normally I'm a salt fiend, but these days, let's just say I could live on Nestle Outshine bars. In pineapple. Or strawberry. Or all of them.

Avery's room is painted, but that's about it, besides her closet system being installed. It was a lot easier for Chris to redo Harlowe's room when he wasn't having to chase her around the house on his day off while I work! As a more experienced second time mom (ha!), I know it doesn't matter if it's ready in the next 3 months, since we barely went in Harlowe's room the first 6 months except to get clothes to change her into. I have everything I want saved on my Pinterest anyway, so I could have a room put together tomorrow if I wanted! Ha, right! I'll get some pictures next time, make this thing more interesting!

Avery Jolie

Yes, that will be her name! We're in love with it and agreed on it really quickly, just like we did for Harlowe. Basically, we're good at naming children together.

Let's see, what else is new...we got paint for her room, which is called Indulgent Peach. It's very bright and cheery for probably the sunniest room in the house. I can't wait to get everything out of that room so we can get cracking on some remodeling! Oh yeah, does anyone need a really nice dresser, nightstand and daybed? I'm sad to see them go, but we have nowhere to put them anymore!

Avery continues to be very violent, and I think she gets sugar highs when I eat because she goes ca-razy. Other than that, just trucking along.

Here I am at 24 weeks of glory. My OB said I'll probably stay the same size for a while as my uterus fills up the massive cavern my upper torso has generously created. I'm all for it, it takes me approximately 7 minutes to roll over at night, which is just disruptive!
